Beginner's Guide to Crochet
Had a great evening learning a new skill! There were 4 in our group and we were all complete beginners. Our instructor, Lindsey, started us off with the very basics, how to start off, do a chain, double crochet, triple crochet, and how to finish off. She was very knowledgeable and if we didn't understand she took time to show us individually how to do it. She had a lovely relaxed, friendly and calm style to set us at ease.

Beginner's Guide to Crochet
Excellent introduction for someone who has never crotcheted before. Holly was clear and kept going over things, able to ask questions. We end up with 2 small pieces of crochet which I was very pleased with

Pottery Making Taster Workshop
Something different to do on a week night. Really enjoyed it. Instructors were quite helpful and encouraging. It's a real studio so there's shelves full of mugs and vases and all sorts. They gave us clay and we each had a pottery wheel. Everyone was very lovely. Great music was playing throughout, definitely a fun class.

Kingfisher Acrylic Painting Class
The class was wonderful! I missed a lot of the first 10 minutes due to my internet signal initially being weak, however Emma was great at making sure I had rejoined. Her clear visual instructions meant I could quickly catch up - two ovals, two triangles and I was ready to get painting. Emma was very informative and friendly, and I was very pleased with the class! Beginners' Pottery Wheel Class
Suzan is a wonderful teacher and made Lucy and I very welcome to her studio. Even though we were true beginners she patiently showed us the key steps of throwing a pot. We learnt so much and produced 3 pots in the 2 hours. Nothing was rushed and we really enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend Suzan to you - you will love the chance to creative something unique in your 2 hours

Hand Building Pottery Class
Pottery class was exceptional! Me and my sister enjoyed it so much, it was a lovely Friday night activity to do. I felt like we got better as time went by, the teacher was so friendly and attentive, she let us stay a little longer which was perfect as we got to finish our piece.

Vintage Cake Decorating Class
I really enjoyed this class, Amna is so welcoming and made everything seem so simple. She was super helpful to everyone and such a bubbly, upbeat attitude, she was a joy to be around! She guided us all to decorate beautiful cakes and taught us so many good tricks and everything you need to know. I was so happy with my cake, I think the class is amazing value for money and I would do it again!

Beginner's Guide to Acrylic Paint Pouring
A really enjoyable and relaxing class. John was a great teacher and I’m really pleased with the 4 coasters we created using different acrylic paint pouring techniques.
The class is excellent value for money, all materials are provided (and you get to take home all leftover paint and materials, as well as your creations). I would highly recommend this class and would definitely do it again.

Beginner's Guide to Acrylic Paint Pouring
Jon was the most amazing teacher. Super friendly, patient and helpful.
Each person was provided with a kit (which was worth as much as the cost of the class) as well as a separate set of coasters, and bag to take the surplus home.
Jon’s instructions were really clear throughout and was really accommodating.
I’d thoroughly recommend requesting a bespoke class (they can fit up to 5 adults)Jon was the most amazing teacher. Super friendly, patient and helpful.

Chinese Cooking Class - - Rice Cake and Pork Chop
Absolutely loved this class! Thank you Simon and Hanna for having us. We made rice cake and pork chop, and added on bao buns. Great fun, lots of new techniques learned and we’ll certainly be taking all we learned to try at home. The venue was clean, well managed and the hosts were wonderful. We’ll be back to try another of their classes!

Kingfisher Acrylic Painting Class
A good starting point for learning how to work with acrylic paints. Having the video to look back through after really helped as it took away any sense of urgency when doing more precise strokes and was able to work at my own pace.

One-to-one Cricut Workshop
My teacher Louise was excellent. She went at just the right speed, and answered all my questions almost before they were asked. We were doing a basic Cricut workshop, but it included the many different ways in which the machine and materials could be used. A tour of the Cricut section in Hobbycraft was also very useful.

Paint and Sip Class - Watford
Had a fab evening painting a wonderful, colourful puppy. Bea, as always, guided us through the process and then encouraged us to be creative with our colours. It was a lively class in Watford, but we all had a great time and ended up with a lovely piece of individual art. Looking forward to my next class in 2 weeks time
